Jones & Wagener has over thirty years of experience in designing and monitoring Mine Waste Storage Facilities (MWSFs). We provide multi-disciplinary solutions in accordance with the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM) and industry best practices.
We provide the full range of services associated with MWSFs, from site selection, selection of deposition methodology, design and construction monitoring, surveillance and Engineer of Record (EoR) services, to closure design and implementation.
In accordance with the GISTM vision of an integrated approach to tailings management, we leverage on our in-house specialities in other disciplines, including geotechnical, hydrogeological, hydrology and environmental engineering and management to provide a holistic solution to tailings disposal. We have recent involvement on more than 50 MWSFs, representing all common resource types, located throughout Africa.
